Dr. Ananth Chikkatur
Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. Ananth Chikkatur leads our energy consulting services, along with the development of agentic AI workflows and data fabric, specializing in predictive modeling for energy markets and optimizing complex data sets.
Dr. Chikkatur is an energy-sector leader with decades of experience across Southeast Asia, South Asia, North America, and Africa. He is trained at Harvard Kennedy School in energy technologies and policy and with a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT.
Dr. Chikkatur is a recognized thought leader in energy transition and sustainability. He brings rigorous technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver innovative solutions for private and public sector clients in complex political and regulatory environments.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long
Senior Consultant
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long is a Senior Power Market and Power System Expert at XanhTerra with more than 10 years of experience in Vietnam's power system operation, generation planning and market analysis. His expertise spans power system operations, dispatch optimization, generation adequacy assessment, energy storage integration, and electricity market design.
Mr. Long served as an power systems planning engineer at the National Load Dispatch Center (NLDC, and now NSMO) under Electricity Vietnam (EVN). He led national year-ahead and month-ahead generation planning using industry standard tools, and was responsible for calculating system reliability indicators, determining reserve requirements, identifying qualified ancillary service providers, reviewing the 2017–2030 power development outlook under the Revised PDP7, and negotiating PPA for BOT power projects. At the venture capital firm, BIG Capital, he focused on disruptive energy technologies, particularly VRE and ESS solutions, and led multiple energy storage and system flexibility initiatives
Mr. Long holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, a Masters in Business Administration from the Paris Graduate School of Management, Hanoi, and a Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering (concentration in Power) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, USA.
Ms. Nguyen Hong Ngoc

Ms. Nguyen Hong Ngoc is a policy and regulatory expert at XanhTerra, with over 11 years of advisory experience spanning finance, economics, investment incentives, and policy advisory for clients and programs across power, renewable energy, e-mobility, energy efficiency, and low-carbon infrastructure.
Ms. Ngoc has delivered clean-energy technical assistance, policy analysis, regulatory assessments, and stakeholder engagement with central government bodies in support of Vietnam’s energy transition. At Deloitte Vietnam, she has advised leading energy, automotive, and electronics companies on investment incentives, capital allocation, transaction structuring, and due diligence, helping achieve tax savings of up to tens of millions of US dollars per project. Her strong understanding of Vietnam’s regulatory and incentive landscape enables her to navigate approval pathways and inter-ministerial coordination for renewable integration, power market reform, and corporate clean-energy procurement.
Ms. Ngoc holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from National Economics University under a curriculum developed with California State University, Long Beach, U.S., and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in Australia.
Ms. Phan Thu Thuy

Ms. Phan Thu Thuy supports XanhTerra with policy analysis and stakeholder engagement to advance our energy transition objectives.
Ms. Thuy brings cross-sectoral experiences spanning public policy, market analysis, data-driven strategy, and stakeholder engagement across Southeast Asia. She has worked with government agencies and multinational corporations on policy mapping, regulatory analysis, and high-level stakeholder coordination across energy, infrastructure, and retail sectors. She has supported product portfolio growth and innovation initiatives through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Ms. Thuy holds a degree in International Business Economics from Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam, and studied Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at the University of Connecticut on the U.S. State Department's Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) scholarship.
